With Americas future once again dependent on the next election – we wanted to give a review of the claims, speculation and analysis of both candidates views of the continent some of their closest allies – Europe. Both have widely different concepts of NATO, with stakeholders which have vested interests from the military and the working class, to futurists and isolationists. It’s estimated that between Canada and European allies the increased budgets will set a record breaking $430 billion in combined spending. This is backed up by the largest military on earth of course the U.S. but who set the next agenda and potentially the course of the century to come? Will Kamala Harris become the first female president, over the top of a second consecutive democratic term holding to the norms set? Or will Trump show us the art of the deal and end up in the White House again on a wave of red support, keeping America away from repeating its warring history? It’s all talk, and still all to play for until one of them is sat behind the Oval Office…
